This website looks at sheep and their context.
It is calling for sheep to be better appreciated and treated, and demonstrating why. It is saying that humans should value sheep for themselves, rather than for their uses. Matters of Sheep website represents on-going discussion and furthering of the concerns of my book, Sheep Matter (2020).
Requesting that sheep should be re-evaluated by humans can be seen as sitting within our worldwide recognition of need for rethink and reset.
The intention, too, for the website is that it should simply serve to celebrate sheep; portraying their many qualities.
The website comprises four sections: this section, About; an Images section displaying artworks by me which relate to sheep; a Journal section carrying articles on individual dimensions concerned with sheep, now, amended as necessary, in a book titled Journal On Sheep; a Contact section.
As a development of this website is the website, Care About Sheep (careaboutsheep.com). It focuses directly on care about sheep and care of them, arguing for improvement in sheep welfare.
